Key Points to Remember Before Applying for Canara Bank Apprentice Posts 2026

Before submitting the application for the apprenticeship in Canara Bank, candidates must remember these few points, which are as follows:-

  • Karnataka leads with 581 seats due to Canara Bank’s Head Office in Bengaluru and broad branch network across southern districts.
  • Candidates should remember that they cannot submit the application forms for multiple states. Submitting multiple state applications will invalidate the candidature.
  • A language test is conducted during the Document verification. Candidates who completed 10th or 12th standard with the official local language as an explicit subject will be exempt from taking the separate language proficiency test.
  • As the selection process depends on Class 12th or Diploma Percentage (a minimum of 60% marks for General, OBC, EWS, and 55% for SC, ST, and PwBD, states with higher seat counts like UP, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu offer better opportunities.
