Cantonment Board, Jhansi Notified for 3 Junior Assistant Vacancies 2014

Cantonment Board, Jhansi, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, responsible to cater civic amenities to the resident of civil area of the Cantonment, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to three posts of Junior Assistant (Junior Clerk) to be posted in its office located at Subhash Marg, Jhansi Cantt. Interested candidates should send their duly-filled in application form by registered post to the Board’s Office on or before 31 March 2014 (up to 1700 hours).

Vacancy Details

Name of the post: Junior Assistant

Number of seats:-03 posts

Pay Scale: Pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 plus usual allowances as per State Govt. of UP

Eligibility Criterion

Age limit:-Candidate must be in between 18 to 25 years as on 1 July 2013;

[Upper Age Limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC Category candidates]

Qualifications:  Candidate must be a Intermediate pass & must know Typing. He/ she must possess knowledge of Computers (Windows, MS Office, and Internet)

Selection Procedure:- Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written test and interview.

Date of Written Test / interview will be informed separately to the eligible candidates.

Selected candidates will be required to join immediately and can be posted at any place under the jurisdiction of Jhansi Cantonment Board.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 200 is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘The Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, Jhansi’ payable at Jhansi
