Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
1) Research Associate: a) The candidate should have Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60 % marks or equivalent OGPA
2) b) The Candidate should have Ph. D. in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life sciences with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed journal.
3) Senior Research Fellow: a) The candidate should have Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Life Science with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
4) b) The Candidate should have M.Sc./ M.Sc.(Ag) in Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Soil Microbiology/ Entomology/ Pathology/ Horticulture/ Vegetable Science with with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
5) Lab Assistant: The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline of Science.
6) Field Assistant: candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline of Science.
7) Project Assistant: The candidate should have completed Post Graduate in Agriculture-Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Agronomy/ life Sciences with experience in Crop filed trials management/ Germplasm handling and data recording of field trials.
Age Limit
1) Research Associate: 40 years for men and 45 years for women
2) Senior Research Fellow: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
3) Lab Assistant: 35 years
4) Field Assistant: 35 years
5) Project Assistant: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Pay Scale
1) Research Associate: 23,000/- + HRA per month for Master’s degree holders/ 24,000/- + HRA per month for Doctoral degree holders.
2) Senior Research Fellow: 16,000/- + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd year. ` 18,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year.
3) Lab Assistant: 10,000/- per month
4) Field Assistant: 10,000/- per month
5) Project Assistant: 15,000/- per month fixed
