CBSE Class 12th English (Elective - C) 2018 Board exam was held today (i.e., March 5, 2018) from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM along with English Core (301) & Elective ‒ N (001) papers. In this article, we have provided the complete analysis of the paper and also added review of students who have attempted this paper.
Question papers of CBSE Class 12th English (Elective - C) 2018 Board exam were distributed today at 10:15 AM. The time allotted to read the complete question paper was 15 minutes (i.e. from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM). The examination began at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. The duration of the paper was 3 hours and it carried a total of 100 marks.
Examination Pattern of Class 12 English (Elective - C):
CBSE Class 12 English paper consisted of three sections namely A, B & C which contained questions totaling to 100 marks that had to be answered within 3 hours of duration. More detail about each section is given below:
Section A – Reading (20 Marks)
Section B – Writing and Grammar (40 Marks)
Section C – Literature (40 Marks)
All sections were compulsory in this paper. There was no overall choice in the question paper however internal choices were present in some questions.
Students were quite satisfied with the way paper was set. According to the students, paper was neither easy nor difficult. However, some students said that the paper was a bit lengthy.
