CBSE Class 12th English (Elective - C) 2018 Board exam was held today (i.e., March 5, 2018) from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM along with English Core (301) & Elective ‒ N (001) papers. Question papers of CBSE Class 12th English (Elective - C) 2018 Board exam were distributed today at 10:15 AM. The time allotted to read the complete question paper was 15 minutes (i.e. from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM). The examination began at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. The duration of the paper was 3 hours and it carried a total of 100 marks.

Examination Pattern of Class 12 English (Elective - C):
CBSE Class 12 English paper consisted of three sections namely A, B & C which contained questions totaling to 100 marks that had to be answered within 3 hours of duration. More detail about each section is given below:
Section A – Reading (20 Marks)
Section B – Writing and Grammar (40 Marks)
Section C – Literature (40 Marks)
All sections were compulsory in this paper. There was no overall choice in the question paper however internal choices were present in some questions.
General sense:
Students were quite satisfied with the way paper was set. According to the students, paper was neither easy nor difficult. However, some students said that the paper was a bit lengthy.
