CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2017: English Communicative; paper analysis and review

CBSE Class 10^th English Communicative board paper 2017 was held today (i.e. 30^th March 2017) from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. Question papers were distributed to the students at 10:15 AM and the paper started at 10:30 AM. The duration of this 70 marks paper was 3 hours.

Format of the CBSE Class 10th English Communicative board paper 2017

In CBSE Class 10^th English Communicative question paper there were three sections:

Section A:       Reading                       20 marks

Section B:       Writing and Grammar 25 marks

Section C:       Literature                    25 marks

In section A (or Reading section), there were two passages and questions based on these passages were asked.

In section B (Writing and Grammar), question were based on story writing, letter writing and rearrangement of jumble words (or phrases) to form sentences.

In section C (Literature), questions based on stories and poems given in textbooks were asked.

There were 11 questions (with internal choices) in the paper.  There was no overall choice in the question paper.

Student’s feedback in CBSE Class 10th English Communicative board paper 2017

According to students and teachers, CBSE Class 10th English Communicative board paper 2017 was quite easy. There were no any tricky questions however vocabulary questions troubled some students. Overall paper was quite simple and straightforward.

According to CBSE Class 10^th date sheet 2017, next important exams for CBSE Class 10^th are Mathematics and Social Science. CBSE Class 10^th Mathematics paper is scheduled to be held on   03rd April, 2017 whereas CBSE Class 10^th Social Science paper scheduled to be held on 8th April, 2017.
