CBSE Class X and XII Examination 2014: Download LOC and Admit Cards

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has uploaded the List of Candidates (LOC) for Classes X and XII students for 2014 Examinations on its website and will also upload the Admit Cards for the same on 27 January 2014.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has uploaded the List of Candidates (LOC) for Classes X and XII students for 2014 Examinations on its website and will also upload the Admit Cards for the same on 27 January 2014.

In order to achieve optimum accuracy, the CBSE asked all the schools affiliated to it for online submission of details for the List of candidates (LOC) of Class X/XII in their your school for 2014 Examination.

Now, on the basis of the data pertaining to LOC submitted by the schools, the CBSE has uploaded the LOC on its public portal, which has been available on the Net from 17 January 2014. The facility to download LOC for Class XII shall be made available from 17th January 2014, and that for the Class X will be available from 22 January 2014.

And, the facility to download Admit cards Classes X and XII shall be made available from 27 January 2014.

Schools can download LOC with Roll Nos. for all candidates as well as Admit cards pertaining to Class X for Scheme-1 and Scheme-2 and Class XII candidates. Please make note that the printed admit cards shall not be sent by the Board.

To download LOC and Admit Cards, schools need to enter their user-id and password which they used during online submission of Registration and LOC of Class IX/XI and Class X/XII respectively.

Downloading of LOC and Admit Card for Class X and Class XII Examination 2014

The CBSE Delhi shall witness the highest number of students giving Classes X and XII CBSE Board Examinations as 22.65 lakh students have registered to appear in 2014 Board exams in the city, breaking the last year’s record of 21.76 lakhs aspirants.

The CBSE Board exams for the year 2014 will start from 01 March 2014.

The Class X board examinationwill observes around 70,000 more students appearing for 2014 exam as compared to last year. It will have more than 13.25 lakh studentsin total, for March 2014 schedule.

Whereas, Class XII examinees rose to more than20, 000 students when matched to last year’s number of XII class board examinees.9, 40,228 students of Class XII have registered for the board exam 2014.

The examination schedule for both classes will officially be out in the end of December.

As per the CBSE officials, 13, 25,627 students applied for the Class X exam 2014. Among the total, 7.29 lakh students will appear for the school-based Summative II, whereas 5.96 lakhs will write for Board-based external exam.

CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi, informed that in 2014 board exam registration there is a balance observed in the number of students taking the external and school-based examsas 55% students have opted for the school-based exam.

In year 2014, students from 14,700 schools will sit for the board exam, which will be 800 more than March 2013 board.

Due to new schools adding and affiliating to CBSE, a gradual increase in the number of candidates has been noted. The numbers are to go higher even more in the consecutive 2years, told Joshi.
