The cutoff score is the required or minimum score in order to pass/clear the CDS written examination which will be considered for the next round i.e. SSB. CDS exam cut-off is released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) after the conduction of written examination. As the examination will be conducted on 14th February 2016 aspirants should check the analysis of previous years to get the information about scores to set the targets for each section to get recruited in Indian Air Force, Officers Training Academy, Military, and Indian Naval Recruitment. However, the cut off marks for each field is different.
The Number of candidates is increasing rapidly with each passing year. If we compare the number of candidates from previous years it has been increased from 64,626 to 97483.

CDS Exam cutoff 2015 & 2016
According to the UPSC CDS written examination 2015, 8488 candidates were qualified to appear for SSB (Service Selection Board) of the Ministry of Defence. If we compare the cutoff of last two years we can expect the growth in percentage. By keeping in mind trend of papers coming its cutoff and minimum qualifying marks for each subject required we can estimate the range of marks from 5-10 for each category which will set the eligibility criteria to appear for the SSB for 2016. The Expanding number of aspirants appearing for the written examination and keeping in mind the competition level candidates needs to work on each subject to get the minimum qualifying marks. Ignoring any of the subjects will not give you the passing certificate.
