Centre for Development of Advance Computing (CDAC) is a scientific society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. It invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment as Project Engineers (Technical Cadre) on contract basis in Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Project Engineer: 1st Class BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Linguist
• a) MA in Linguistics/ Computational Linguistics
• b) Basic Computer Knowledge
• c) Should be proficient in Malayalam and English

•d)      Desirable Qualification: Familiar with Windows and Linux OS and various language resource tools along with Programming skills

• Audiologist: Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Pathology. Desirable: 2 years experience
• Software Tester: Graduation from a recognized University. Desirable: 1 year experience in using Linux and Windows platform, Windows office packages, any Screen reader software like JAWS

Age Limit (as on 1 November 2011): Maximum 30 years (for all posts)

Application Fee: Application fee of Rs 100 by Single Demand Draft drawn on or before the last date of online registration in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram. No processing fee is required for Post No 4 (Software Tester).

No processing fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ PH category candidates. Name of the applicant should be clearly written on the backside of the DD.

Emoluments

• Project Engineer: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs 15,000
• Linguist: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs 15,000
• Audiologist: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs 9,400
• Software Tester: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs 9,400
