Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Professor/ Associate Professor/Assistant Professor -A Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and a postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS/M.Ch. or equivalent recognized degree.

Experience:

• Professor - Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject or specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree.
• Associate Professor - Six years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject or specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto
• Assistant Professor - Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject or specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto

Age Limit:

• Professor – 66 Years
• Associate Professor– 55 Years
• Assistant Professor– 50 Years
