Putting an end to all the rumours about Bihar Class 10th Result dates, it has been confirmed by the sources that the result will be announced on 5 June 2014, Thursday. The students had appeared for the board examinations in the month of March and over the eight days starting from March 6 to March 13, had appeared for a total of seven exams. The state board had conducted paper across the affiliated government-run and private schools. The students appeared in two shifts one was a day shift and the other was an evening shift. The timings for the day shift was 9:30 am to 12:45 pm whereas for the evening shift, students had to give the exam from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The date sheets for the students of both the shift was kept same however, the sets were entirely different.

To check your results on the web portal of Bihar Board, you must go through the following steps:
• On the homepage of the Bihar Board's official web address, you will find a link to the "Matriculation Examination Result 2014". Click on it.
• Then you will be asked to accurately enter the details such as your roll number issued by the board and your school code. These details are printed on your Class X board examination admit card.

The result of the requested roll number will be there on the screen within a few seconds. A total number of 1327398 students had appeared for the Bihar Board SSC exam. Last year, a boy from Bhojpur district had come first across the state with securing 495 marks out of 500 marks. This year too both students and teachers are expecting a good result, however, they wished that at least a day's break would have been given by the board between Social Science and Maths exam. Notably, the board exams were scheduled back to back and there was only a Sunday holiday before the Science exam.
