Age limit

• Candidate should have 18 years and not below 25 years as on 1 January 2014.
• No Age Relaxation in lower or upper age limits for any category of candidate.

Educational Qualification

• Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2800/-: Degree or its equivalent.
• Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2400/-: 10^th passed or its equivalent with 80 words per minute in Short hand (English) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in typing in 65 minutes. (OR) Shorthand (Hindi) for duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in typing in 75 minutes.
• Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2000/- & Rs.1900/-:10^th passed or its equivalent.
• Posts having Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- : 10^th passed or ITI or its equivalent.

Application Fee

• Unreserved and OBC candidate need to pay Rs. 60/- for the post in scale PB-I Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400/2800/- and Rs. 40/- for the post in scale PB-I Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800/1900/2000/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Payable at Chittaranjan.
• The SC/ST, ex-servicemen, physically challenged, women, minority candidates and economically backward classes candidates (whose family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of Trial and Interview /Certificate Verification.
