Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
This test is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to select candidates for admission in all Management programs. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
This year CMAT will be conducted on 17th January 2016.

CMAT Exam pattern / Structure
CMAT will be an objective type exam. There will be no descriptive type questions in the exam.
There will negative marking for wrong answer in this exam.1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
CMAT will be online test of 3 hours duration. Exam paper will be consisted of 100 MCQ questions. MCQ format based questions will be asked from 4 sections;

Agartala, Ahmadabad, Ahmednagar, Allahabad, Amravati, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bhuj, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Davangere, Dehradun, Delhi, Dhanbad, Dharwad, Durgapur, Gulbarga, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Meerut, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Nasik, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Rajkot, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar, Surat, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
CMAT 2016 Registration Procedure
All eligible candidates will be required to register online only. The online registration process and filling of the online application forms commence from 3ndNovember, 2015 and the last date for registration will be 10thDecember, 2015.

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fees by the means of available payment modes.
The following is the application fees which the candidate will be required to pay;
General / OBC: Rs.1400 + Bank Charges.
Female / SC / ST / PWD: Rs.700 + Bank Charges.
CMAT fees can be paid by using following means;
Mode (1) PAYMENT: You can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking.
Mode (2) CASH Payment in SBI bank: You can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan generation.
The last date to pay CASH in bank is 11th December 2015 and from there onwards to complete registration is 13th December 2015. Submission of final application after payment will not be possible after 13th December, 2015.
