Competition Commission of India (CCI), New Delhi on behalf of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs issued notification inviting applications for filling up 25 posts in the office of Director General on deputation on Foreign Service basis. Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 37400 - 67000 with G.P of Rs. 8900
Eligibility Conditions: Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or Universities or Academic or Research Institutions etc. and working in analogous post or grade or one year experience in the grade pay of Rs. 8700 or five years in the grade pay of Rs. 7600 or equivalent and having experience in investigation/ ‘enforcement’ of any economic/ regulatory law dealing with regulation/ investigation
2. Joint Director General: 5 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 37400 - 67000 with G.P of Rs. 8700
Eligibility Conditions: Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or Universities or Academic or Research Institutions etc. and working in analogous post or grade or three years experiences in the grade pay of Rs. 7600 or Eight years in the grade pay of Rs. 6600 or equivalent; and having experience in investigation/ ‘enforcement of any economic/ regulatory law dealing with regulation/ investigation.
3. Deputy Director General: 17 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 37400 - 67000 with G.P of Rs. 7600
Eligibility Conditions: Officers of the All India Services or Central Civil Services Group ‘A’ or Autonomous Organizations or Regulatory Authorities or Universities or Academic or Research Institutions etc. and working in analogous post or grade or four years experience in the grade pay of Rs. 6600 or equivalent; or having a combined service of eight years in the grade pay of Rs.6600/- and 5400/- of which three years in the grade pay of Rs.6600/- and having experience in investigation/ ‘enforcement’ of any economic/ regulatory law dealing with regulation/investigation.
Age limit: not more than 56 years [as on the closing date of receipt of applications by CCI]
Type of recruitment: Appointment will be done on Deputation basis initially for a period of three years, extendable up to five years.
