With an aim to maintain discipline and peace in the State, Punjab Police is involved in recruiting personnel as and when there is vacancy. Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Police Recruitment
Candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 pass from a recognized Board and must have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective language. Candidate must be in the age limit of 18-28 years.
Punjab Police has also set physical standard criteria for applicants
For all candidates (except Ex-Serviceman)
Minimum Height: 5 feet 10 inches
Minimum Chest: 38 inches (with minimum expansion of 2 inches)
For Ex-Serviceman candidates
Minimum Height: 5 feet 10 inches
Selection Process for Punjab Police Recruitment
Punjab Police will select candidates on the basis of their performance in Substance Abuse Test (SAT), Physical Screening Test (PST), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and interview-cum-personality test.
