CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi which is an autonomous body under Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. It invites application from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Technical Assistant.

• S & T Management: 1 vacancy (Reserved for SC)
• Biological Sciences: 6 vacancies (3 Unreserved, 2 OBC and 1 PWD Hearing impairment)
• Lab Animals: 2 vacancies (01 OBC and 01 ST)
• SAIF: 1 vacancy (Reserved for SC)
• Chemical Sciences: 4 vacancies (2 Unreserved, 1 SC, and 1 OBC)
• Civil Maintenance: 1 vacancy (Reserved for SC)

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 30 November 2011): Maximum 28 years

Application Fee: Application fee for General/ OBC category candidate is Rs 100 and no fee will be charged from SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities and CSIR employees.

The fee needs to be paid in the form of Banker Cheque/ Demand Draft only drawn in favour of "Director, Central Drug Research Institute" payable at Lucknow.

Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade Pay Rs 4200 per month. The total emolument at present is Rs 26558 (approx.).
