CSIR Madras Complex Recruitment of Senior Technical Officer and Assistant Executive Engineer 2011

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, established in 1942 with Corporate Office at New Delhi In order to foster multidisciplinary research and to cater to the requirements of the southern region, five major laboratories established regional centres at Madras in a single campus which is known as CSIR MADRAS COMPLEX (CMC). It invites application from eligible candidates for filling up the posts mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Sr. Technical Officer: MSc (Horticulture/ Botany/ Agriculture) with 55% marks after 1st Class BSc (Science) (or) B Tech (Horticulture) or equivalent with 55% marks
• Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): BE/ B Tech (EEE) or equivalent with 55% marks

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (for both posts)

Age Limit (as on 28 November 2011):

• Sr. Technical Officer: Maximum 35 years
• Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): Maximum 40 years

Application Fee: Application fee for General/ OBC category candidate is Rs 100 and no fee will be charged from SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities and CSIR employees.

The fee needs to be paid in the form of Banker Cheque/ Demand Draft only drawn in favour of CSIR Madras Complex, payable at Chennai.

Pay Scale: Rs 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay Rs 5400 per month. The total emoluments at the minimum of the scale at present are Rs 44,686 inclusive of allowances at Chennai.
