CSIR NEIST Recruitment 2016 for 34 Technical Assistant and Other Posts

CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIS&T)  invited applications for recruitment to the post for Technical Assistant and Other Posts .The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 16 August 2016.

Under CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIS&T) Recruitment 2016, there are vacancies for , 12 Posts of Technical Assistant, 02 Posts are for Senior Technical Officer, 19 Posts are for Scientist, and 02 Posts are for Principal Scientist.

Eligibility for Technical Assistant-

• CSTD  :  first class B. Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and with one-year full time professional qualification or one-year experience in operation and maintenance of sophisticated equipments from a recognized institute/organization. Or 1st class Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering/ Technology of at least 3 years full time duration or Minimum 02 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course or its equivalent with experience of 02 years in operation and maintenance of sophisticated equipments from a recognized institute/organization MSTD

• ESTD( Workshop and Pilot Plant) - 1st class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration or minimum  02 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course or its equivalent with experience of 02 years of working in a mechanical engineering workshop / processing plant from a recognized institute/organization

• ESTD ( Electrical Engineering) - 1st class Diploma in Electrical Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration or minimum  02 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course or its equivalent with experience of 02 years of working in power house, electrical designing, estimation and maintenance from a recognized institute/ organization

• ESTD ( Chemical Engineering) - 1st class B. Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and with one year full time professional qualification or one year experience in operation and maintenance of sophisticated equipments from a recognized institute/organization

• MSTD (Cellulose Pulp and Paper)- 1st class Diploma in Plastic Technology of at least 3 years full time duration or at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course or its equivalent with experience of 02 years of working on plastic, polymer, cellulose, paper and pulp from a recognized institute/ organization

• MSTD (Advanced Material)- 1st class B. Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and with one-year full time professional qualification or one-year experience in

working in a chemical laboratory from a recognized institute/ organization.
• BSTD (Medicinal Aromatic and Economic) -Plant - 1st class B. Sc. in Botany with one year full time professional qualification or one year experience in isolation and identification of Bacteria and Fungi, growing microbial culture, bio-essay technique etc. from a recognized institute/ organization.

Eligibility for Senior Technical Officer

• CSTD (Natural Products Chemistry)- B.V.Sc. & AH with 55 % marks from a recognised university/institute along with registration with VCI

•  Clinical Centre- MBBS with 55 % marks from a recognised university /institute along with registration with MC

• BSTD (Medicinal Aromatic and Economic Plant) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Agriculture (Agronomy)

• BSTD (Biotechnology) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Biotechnology (Environmental biotechnology)

• BSTD: Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Biochemistry/ Life Sciences(Proteomics / Enzymology) Biotechnology

• CSTD: (Analytical Chemistry )- Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (X-ray Crystallography)

• CSTD ( Applied Organic Chemistry) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Theoretical Chemistry)

• CSTD (Natural Products Chemistry) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Pharmacology/ Pharmacy

• CSTD ( Natural Products Chemistry) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Natural Products Chemistry)

• BSTD (Medicinal Aromatic and Economic Plant) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Natural Products Chemistry)

• CSTD (Applied Organic Chemistry) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Medicinal/ Synthetic Organic Chemistry)

• ESTD ( Chemical Engineering) - M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical or Allied Engineering Subject with B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering

• ESTD (Chemical  Engineering)- Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences (Membrane Technology)

• ESTD (Chemical Engineering) - M.E./M.Tech in Chemical/Bio-Chemical Engineering with B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/ Bio-Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology

• ESTD (General Engineering) - M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Allied Engineering Subject with B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

• GSTD (Geoscience) - Ph.D. (awarded / thesis submitted) in Geology / Applied Geology (Structural Geology/Engineering Geology)

Eligibility for Lateral Entry of Principal Scientist

• MSTD (Polymer Petroleum and Coal Chemistry)- Ph.D. in Chemistry / Chemical Sciences / Polymer Science/ Petroleum Technology/ Chemical Engineering with 3 years’ Post Doctoral Research/ Industry experience in polymer/ petroleum /natural gas/coal processing from a recognized institute/ organization

•  RPBD- PhD in Science / Engineering with 3 years’ Post Doctoral experience from a recognized institute/ organization in interacting with various agencies for successful technology dissemination and marketing
