CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine invited applications for recruitment to the post of Scientist and Senior Scientist. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 31 January 2014. Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences.

Age limit
• Scientist: Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 32 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Senior Scientist: Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 37 years as on 31 January 2014.
Educational Qualification
• Scientist: PhD (Thesis submitted/Awarded) in Natural Products or Medicinal or Analytical or Bio-organic or Synthetic Chemistry or equivalent.
• Senior Scientist: PhD in Natural Products or Medicinal or Analytical or Bio-organic or Synthetic Chemistry or equivalent with 2 years experience.
Application Fee
• General and OBC categories Candidates must submit Demand draft of Rs.100 drawn on any nationalized bank valid for a period of three months in favour of Director, IIIM, Jammu, Payable at Jammu.
• SC/ST/PH (PWD)/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from payment of application fee.
Pay Scale
• Scientist: Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.6600/-
• Senior Scientist: Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.7600/-
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview.
