CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nagpur issued notification inviting applications for empanelment of 25 Project Assistants (23) / Project Associate (2) at various levels (Level I, II & III) under externally funded/ sponsored projects and CSIR funded Network and other Projects of 12th Five Year Plan in CSIR-NEERI from the candidates with Science/ Engineering Degree in different disciplines. I. Project Assistants: 23 posts

II. Project Associate: 2 posts

Eligibility: Candidates with Science/ Engineering Degree in different disciplines.

Type of recruitment: temporary, contractual;

Maximum duration of recruitment: not more than five years (in one project or in different projects taken together in CSIR)

1. Project Assistant Level – I (non-Ph.D): 2 posts

Qualifications: B.Sc./ Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with Computer proficiency and Technical skill.

Age Limit: 25 years

Stipend: Rs. 8000 p.m. (Consolidated)

2. Project Assistant Level – II (non-Ph.D): 20 posts

Qualifications: M.Sc./ BE/ B.Tech. or equivalent with proficiency in technical skills.

Age Limit: 28 years

Stipend: Rs. 12000 p.m. (Consolidated)

3. Project Assistant Level – III (non-Ph.D): 1 post

Qualifications: M.Sc./ BE/ B.Tech. or equivalent with two years Research & Teaching experience or ME/ M.Tech and proficiency in technical skills.

Age Limit: 32 years

Stipend: Rs. 14000 p.m. (Consolidated)

4. Project Associate Level – I (Ph.D): 1 post

Qualifications: Ph.D. in relevant subject/ area and proficiency in technical skills.

Age Limit: 35 years

Stipend: Rs. 20000 p.m. (Consolidated)

5. Project Associate Level – II (Ph.D): 1 post

Qualifications: Ph.D. in relevant subject/area with two years relevant experience and proficiency in technical skills.

Age Limit: 37 years

Stipend: Rs. 25000 p.m. (Consolidated)

NOTE: Maximum age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates and up to 3 years for OBC category candidates

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
