Delhi Health & Family Welfare Department to Recruit Medical Officers

Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi invited applications for filling up 250 vacant posts of Medical Officers in various Hospital/Institutions of Government of NCT of Delhi on Contract Basis.

Initially, the appointment will be for one year (up to 28 February 2013) or till such time the posts are filled up on regular basis through UPSC, whichever is earlier.

Last Date to apply: 05 October 2012 (1600 hrs).

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 32 years of age on the last date for receipt of application. (Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC applicants admissible as per extant Central Government Rules.)

Remuneration: Rs.53,000/- p.m.(Fixed)

Application Fees: A crossed DD of Rs. 1500  (For General & OBC Category) (Rs. 750 for applicants of reserved category belonging to SC/ST) in favour of ‘Dean, MAMC’ payable at New Delhi. The fee is non-refundable.

Essential Qualifications:
•    A recognized MBBS Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
•    Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidate who may not have completed rotating internship but would complete the internship before appointment, if selected, can apply.
•     The candidate must be registered with Delhi Medical Council before appointment to the Post.
•    The essential educational qualification shall be as per subsisting DHS, Rules, 2009.

Interested eligible candidates can send duly filled applications, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of required certificates/documents to the O/o the Registrar (Academic), Boys Common Room (BCR), MAMC, 2-Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-2 so as to reach  the office by 05 October 2012 1600 hrs.
Incomplete application and application received after the due date will not be entertained.
The applications should be marked to ‘Dean, Maulana Azad Medical College, 2-Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-2’.

Selection Procedure:
There shall only be a written examination. This written examination shall be organized by the Dean, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
