Eligibility Criteria for Delhi Police Recruitment 2016 for 4669 Constables Posts
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized board/ university. 11th pass only for Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police and sons/ daughter of Delhi Police Personnel & Multi Tasking Staff (formerly Class-IV employees) of Delhi Police only either in service, retired or deceased.
In addition to this, male candidates are required to carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cycle/Car) as on the date of PE&MT.
Age Limit
Constables (Executive)-Male: 18-21 years.
Constables (Executive)-Female: 18-25 years.

Selection Procedure for Delhi Police Recruitment 2016 for 4669 Constables Posts
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of computer based written examination and PE&MT which would be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.
Details of PE&MT exam
The Physical endurance and measurement test will be conducted by Delhi Police. Candidates are required to appear for Physical Standards Test/Physical Efficiency Test (PE&MT). The PE&MT will be conducted in the following State/ UTs:

Candidates should note that, PE&MT will not carry any marks and will be of qualifying nature.
Details of Computer based Written Exam
PE&MT is mandatory for all candidates. Only those candidates who qualify in PE&MT will be allowed to appear in Computer Based Written Examination. The examination will be of 100 marks (90 minutes duration).

How to Apply for Delhi Police Recruitment 2016 for 4669 Constables Posts
Eligible candidates can apply online along with application fee of Rs 100 (no fee for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen) on or before 10 October 2016.
Important Note for Candidates: The facility of on-line application (including payment of fees through debit card) will be available from 10 September 2016 to 10 October 2016 (5.00PM). However, candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 13 October 2016 provided the challan has been generated by them before 5.00 PM of 10 October 2016. The challan generation facility will be available upto 10 October 2016 (05:00 PM) only.
