Delhi University will conduct the Combined Journalism Entrance Test (C-JET), coordinated by the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), on 27 May 2012 for admission to BA (Hons.) Journalism Course. The test will be conducted a week after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) senior secondary results are declared.
The application process is anticipated to start from 5 April 2012. Candidates can either apply online or offline through a mixed application system for admission to five colleges that offer Journalism course. These colleges include Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kamala Nehru College, Lady Sri Ram College, Kalindi College and Maharaja Agrasen College.
The forms for the entrance test will be available at all the above mentioned participating colleges but can only be submitted at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC).
Besides modifying the application process, the eligibility criteria had also been modified. Candidates will now require 60% marks to take the test which was 70% last year and a minimum of 60% in English are required to be eligible.
Delhi University, in 2011, had conducted the entrance test for Journalism Course in the month of June.
