Department of Agriculture & Cooperation invited applications from eligible and suitable officers for filling up the following post of Assistant Library Information Officer (G.C.S., Group ‘B’ Gazetted officer) at Central Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Tractor Nagar P.O., Budni (MP), a subordinate office of Ministry of Agriculture, on deputation basis. Assistant Library Information Officer: 1Post

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; and

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or equivalent.

(iii) 2 years’ professional experience in the field of Library or 02 (two) years experience in Computerization of Library activities or post graduate diploma in computer application from recognized university/ Institute or equivalent.

Officers under the Central Government

(i) Possessing following above mentioned educational qualifications and experience.

(ii) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ Department;      OR

(iii) With three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of  Rs. 9300 – 34,800/- with grade pay of Rs. 4,200/- (revised) OR equivalent in the parent cadre/ Department.        

Age Limit 

The maximum Age Limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Pay Scale/ Salary 

Pay Band is PB – 2 and Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay  Rs. 4,600/- Per  Month.

Place of Posting 

The officer selected is liable to be posted at CFMTTI, Budni.
