Pay Scale

• Chief Consultant:  Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 90,000/- per month
• Senior Consultant: Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- per month
• Consultant: Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- per month

Educational Qualification

• Chief Consultant (Planning Unit): Post Graduate Degree in any subject (preferably in Education, Statistics / Management Studies / Public Administration / Educational Planning & Administration) with minimum 55% mark
• Senior Consultant (Planning Unit): Post Graduate Degree in any subject (preferably in Education, Statistics / Management Studies / Public Administration / Educational Planning & Administration) with minimum 55% mark
• Senior Consultant (Financial Management Unit): Post Graduate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance) with minimum 55% mark
• Senior Consultant (Management Information System Unit): Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Master Degree in Computer Application OR B. Tech (IT/CS) with minimum 55% mark
• Chief Consultant (Civil Unit): Graduate in Civil Engineering / Architecture with minimum 55% mark
• Consultant (Civil Unit): Graduate in Civil Engineering / Architecture with minimum 55% mark
• Chief Consultant (Secondary Teacher Education Unit): Post Graduate Degree in
• Education or Social
• Sciences with minimum 55% mark
• Senior Consultant (Information & Communication Technology (ICT @ Schools) Unit): Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% mark

• Consultant (Media Unit): Bachelors Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / PR with minimum 55% mark
• Consultant (Planning & Implementation): Graduate Degree in Science/Social Science, Management studies/Economics/Statistics/Maths from a recognized University/Institution
• Consultant (MIS & Development): Post Graduate Degree in Science/Computer Applications, Economics/Statistics/ Maths from a recognized University/Institution OR B.E/B.Tech with Computer Science/ Electronics/Engineering

Age limits: (as on 01 January 2014)

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 62 years
