Eligibility criteria for Apprenticeship in the Army

Eligibility Criteria for Army Apprenticeship Positions

There are two factors, which determine candidate’s eligibility for a particular trainee apprenticeship position with the Indian Army. These include:

Age Limit

The general upper age limit for Trainee Apprenticeship positions with the army stands at 25 years. However, in certain cases where experienced candidates are required, the age limit is relaxed to include candidates with higher age groups. Apart from this, the army also follows age relaxation norms as per the rules laid out by the government.

Educational Qualification

When it comes to educational qualifications, the trainee apprenticeship job profile requires applying candidate to be ITI or Diploma Degree holder in respective trade / field. Furthermore, candidates have to make sure that their ITI Degree or Diploma certificate is issued by a government certified institute.

Any candidate fulfilling the aforementioned eligibility criteria can apply for the Apprenticeship position announced by the Indian Army for different base stations across the country.
