The Indian Army Apprenticeship Jobs are offered to ITI candidates and Technical Diploma holders who have completed the academic programme and are looking for some relevant work experience in the field.

Generally, the announcements for Army Apprenticeships are done by the Army Base Workshop in collaboration with the Indian Army Headquarters. Age Limit for Apprenticeship in Army
The general upper age limit to be eligible for Diploma / ITI Army Trainee Apprenticeship is of 25 years. However, the army allows for relaxation of age limit as per prescribed government rules. Apart from this, for certain apprenticeship positions for which experience is required, the post specific age limits are also announced in the notification.
Educational Qualification Required for Apprenticeship in Army
As far as educational qualifications are concerned, Candidates who have successfully completed ITI programme or diploma degree in relevant trade for which the apprenticeship position has been announced are eligible. However, the short term academic degree needs to be completed from government recognized organizations.
Selection Procedure for Apprenticeship in Army
Selection for Trainee Apprenticeship is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written exam conducted at the Army Base Station. In addition to this, candidates also have to appear for a personal interview round, on the basis of which final selection will be done of Apprenticeship Trainees.
Salary / Stipend for Apprenticeship in Army
Candidates selected for the position of Apprenticeship Trainee in different trades will be paid an approximate stipend of Rs 2100 to 2300 per month, during their service period with the Army.
