Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2012

Q: What is the eligibility criterion for candidates appearing for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) to be conducted by AICTE?

A: AICTE is conducting the first National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2012 for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE for the year 2012-13. The testing window for computer based test will be open for nine days i.e. from 20 February 2012 to 28 February 2012 and candidates will have option of selecting date and city for appearing in the test. The educational qualification required to take this test is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. In addition, final year candidates can also apply for this test. Besides this, there is no age bar to take this and job experience is not necessary.
