ESIC Recruitment of Insurance Medical Officers 2011

ESIC is a Social Security Organization under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, to provide certain benefits to employees in case of sickness, temporary or permanent disablement etc. resulting in loss of earning capacity. It invites application from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the post of Insurance Medical Officer (Allopathic).

• Last date for submitting online application: 20 January 2012 up to 5 pm
• Last date for receipt of application: 31 January 2012
• Last date for receipt of application (from remote areas): 7 February 2012

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 31 January 2012): Maximum 30 years

Pay Scale: Rs 15600- 39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 225. No fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PH/ Departmental/ Ex Serviceman and Women candidates.

Fee is payable in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "ESI Fund, Account No. 1" drawn on any scheduled bank payable at New Delhi. The application fee has to be submitted along with the System Generated hard copy of application.

How to Apply: Application in the prescribed form available on website may be submitted online through ESIC website http://esic.nic.in/ & then a print of the filled in form may be taken and signed. Complete application form duly signed should be sent along with DD towards payment of fee and attested photographs (2 copies), copy of all certificates and testimonials (Copies of certificates and testimonials are required to be submitted at this stage for the post of MTS only) in an envelope super scribed as "Application for the post of Insurance Medical Officer Grade-II in ESI Hospitals in ______________ (Name of the State where candidate wants to apply)" should be sent by  Ordinary Post/UPC at the following address:-
