First National Skill Development University to come up in Chhattisgarh

Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the Minister of State (Independent charge) for skill development and entrepreneurship announced that the first Indian National Skill Development University would come up at Chhattisgarh. The university would open in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.

Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the Minister of State (Independent charge) for skill development and entrepreneurship announced that the first Indian National Skill Development University would come up at Chhattisgarh. The university would open in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. 

According to Rudy, “The government is in the process of formulating a skill development policy under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which would be finalized in the next three months.”

The Skill Development University is expected to provide skill building facilities to students who want to take up vocational courses for preparing themselves for the future job market. This would help the students to get placed in various companies and allow them to study in courses different from the age old educational practices. This would also help developing the skills among the students, making future prospects of the nation even brighter.

Rudy further asserted that the government’s focus is on developing skills of students to generate more and more employability to the deserving candidates.
