Total vacancies: 5 posts

1. Deputy Director Dairy (Group-A): 2 posts

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.5000 per month

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 38 years (as on 1 January 2014)

Qualifications: B.Sc. Dairy Husbandry OR B.Sc. Dairy Technology OR B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and 5 years experience of working in the field of Dairy Extension or milk procurement from Dairy Development

Department of Government of India/ State Government/ Public or Private Sector

2. Dairy Development Officer (Group-B): 3 posts                             

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4400 per month

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 38 years (as on 1 January 2014)

Qualifications: B.Sc. Dairy Husbandry OR B.Sc. Dairy Technology OR B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and relevant experience of working in the Department of Dairy Development of Government of India/ State Government OR in the field of milk procurement or Dairy Extension in a milk plant of Public Sector or Private Sector for a minimum period of two years.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test.

Candidates should regularly visit GADVASU website www.gadvasu.in for date of written test/ results etc.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fees (Cost of form + Examination fee) is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Comptroller, GADVASU’ payable at Ludhiana.

Fees for Deputy Director Dairy (Group-A) post: Rs.900 (Rs.450 for SC/ ST candidates)

Fees for Dairy Development Officer (Group-B) post: Rs.600 (Rs.300 for SC/ ST candidates)
