Government of India Press, Howrah, under Directorate of Printing, New Delhi, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India issued notification inviting application for engagement of 55 Apprentices in various Trades for the Apprenticeship Training for the session commencing from April 2014. 2. Name of the Post: Offset Machine Minder

Duration of Course: 3 years
Qualification: Pass (10+2) i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or equivalent.
3. Name of the Post: PASAA
No. of vacancies: 4 posts
Duration of Course: 1 year
Qualification: ITI Passed in COPA Trade of Computer and 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate Passed.
4. Name of the Post: Mechanic machine Tools Maintenance
No. of vacancies: 2 posts
Duration of Course: 1 year
Qualification: ITI Passed in Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance Trade and 10+2 Standard i.e. Higher Secondary/ Intermediate Passed with Physics & Chemistry as subjects or equivalent.
5. Name of the Post: Electrician

Duration of Course: 1 year
Qualification: ITI passed in Electrician Trade and 10th Class under 10+2 System with Science or equivalent.
For all posts:
Stipend: Rs. 2100 per month (during Ist year of training)
Age limit: Not less than 14 years (as on 1 April 2014)

Selection Procedure: Selection of eligible trainees will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their duly filled-in application forms along with attested copies of required certificates / documents by post to ‘The Manager, Government of India Press, Santragachi, Howrah: 711 112’ so as to reach the concerned authority by 18 March 2014 (up to 1500 hours).
The application can also be dropped in the Box kept in the Press premises till 18 March 2014.
