Great Lakes opens admission for 1 year PGDM prog., Aspirants with CAT 2016 score can also apply!

    Great Lakes Institute of Management has announced the commencement of admission for its flagship full time 1 Year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM). The interested candidates can enrol to seek admission for the academic session 2018–2019 that is expected to commence in April/May 2018. The admission seekers can apply for both the campuses in Chennai and Gurgaon.

    Eligibility Criteria for Great Lakes PGDM course

    All interested candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

    All applicants with a valid CAT/XAT +/CMAT score can apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management.

    It should be noted that for applicants seeking admission in PGPM 2018 programme, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT scores of the year 2016/2017, XAT scores of the year 2017/2018 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2015 or CMAT scores of the year 2017.

    A minimum work experience of 24 months by March 31, 2018 is mandatory. Candidate failing to meet this criterion will not be admitted for the upcoming batch for the year 2017.

    Admission Process for PGDM programme

    Great Lakes will have two cycles of interviews, one will be conducted in December 2017 and the second in February 2018.

    Interviews will be conducted six cities mentioned below:

    1. Delhi
    2. Bangalore
    3. Kolkata
    4. Mumbai
    5. Chennai
    6. Hyderabad

    How to apply for PGDM programme

    Candidates must fill an online form available on the official website of the institute.

    Thereafter, make an online payment of INR 2,000.

    Candidates can apply for either of the campuses in Chennai and Great Lakes. There is an option to apply for both the campuses as well. Select an appropriate option in the registration form while filling the form online.

    If you wish to make payment in Offline Mode, visit your nearby IMS centers and procure a coded number key for applying online and pay INR 2,000.

    Selection Procedure at Great Lakes

    The Great Lakes Institute of Management will evaluate the performance of the students on the basis of the criteria provided below;

    1. GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores,
    2. Past academic performance,
    3. Performance in essay writing round,
    4. Relevant work experience and
    5. Performance in the personal interview.

    Academic Fee for PGDM Prog.

    The total cost of the one year PGDM flagship programmes stands at INR 1,558,000. In case you opt for the accommodation & food charges, then you will be require to pay an additional charge of INR 92000 per annum.
