Health Department, Government of Haryana issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 504 posts of Medical Officer (HCMS-II) on regular basis. Interested candidates should send their duly-filled in application form to the said office so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 16 June 2014.

1. Medical Officer (HCMS-II): 504 posts
Type of recruitment: on regular basis
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400 + NPA.
Age limit: (as on 1 October 2013)
Minimum: 22 years
Maximum: 40 years
Qualifications: Graduate in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India; Must be registered with Haryana/ Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India; Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview.
The Interview would be conducted at the ‘O/o DGHS, Haryana, Sector-6, Panchkula’. Date of Interview and list of Candidates found eligible for interview would be uploaded on the Department’s official website.
The posts are temporary but likely to continue. Appointed candidates would be on probation for a period of two years.
Application Fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 (for General Category) should be deposited in the Haryana Government Treasury OR candidates can also pay the fee through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Director General Health Services, Haryana, Panchkula,’ payable at Panchkula.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their duly filled in application form along with attested copies of all relevant certificates/ documents/ testimonials and two recent passport size photographs to ‘Director General Health Services, Haryana, Sector-6, Panchkula’ by post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 16 June 2014 by 1700 hours.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of Medical Officer”.
