Department of Atomic Energy, Heavy Water Board invited application for the recruitment to the post of Chief Fire Officer, Station Officer, Sub Officer, Leading Fireman, Fireman, Driver-cum-Operator and Driver. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 25 April 2017.
For Chief Fire Officer, candidates should have passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry. Passed the Divisional Officer’s Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. Or Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/London. B.E. in Fire Engineering.
For Station Officer, candidates SSC or equivalent + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License + certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. Or Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London. B.E. in Fire Engineering.
For Sub Officer, candidates SSC or equivalent plus Sub-Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre.
For Leading Fireman, Fireman, SSC or equivalent.
For Driver-cum-Operator, candidates should pass SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle driving License.
For Driver (Ordinary Grade), candidates must Pass in 10th Standard. Must hold a clean and valid driving license to drive Light and Heavy Vehicle. Ability to read and fill up routine forms in English/Hindi desirable.

Selection Procedure
- Chief Fire Officer: Selection will be on the basis of initial screening & performance in the Interview.
- Station Officer: Physical Assessment Test & Personal Interview.
- Sub Officer, Leading Fireman, Fireman: 2 Stage Tests and Physical Assessment Test.
- Driver-cum-Operator: 2 Stage Tests and Physical Assessment Test. Candidate should also qualify in Driving Test.
- Driver: 2 Stage Tests + Driving Test.
