After long and adequate preparations, the day of CTET exam 2016 has come, don’t feel stressed, nervous, and worried. The following test- taking guide/ tips will guide you through examination day.

•Be prepared with pencils, paper, calculator, books, and notes. One should carry two or three pens or pencils with good erasers and sharpener.  Also, carry a watch to keep track of time (as cell phones will not be allowed during an examination at exam hall).

•You must be physically and mentally fit on the day of an exam. After a good sleep, wake up early, eat a healthy meal and be well hydrated before the exam begins. Also, use the restroom before the test begins, and brings a bottle of water if permitted.

•You can revise important notes before examinations which is necessary at the last minute. A wise student will have his own prepared notes on all subjects. Revise you note before the examination. Go through the formulas and tricks again. Revise GK/current affairs notes to just brush up on your points.

•Get to the exam room with time to spare, get settled in and have time to relax before the test starts. Once the exam sheets/ question papers are distributed, read the test directions/ instructions carefully. Clarify your queries (if any) to the instructor. Fill the required entries carefully.

•Survey the entire test before you answer any questions and immediately plan your strategy to take the test.

•Time management and planning to solve the question paper is very important to succeed in any exam, so, don’t waste your time on a question which is not known to you; switch to next question and attempt it at last.

•Also, one should read the questions and the statements of choices carefully before writing the correct option in the box.

•As there are only multiple-choice questions, rule out as many options as you can, and make an educated guess. I suggest not making blind guesses, generally, they are wrong. But, for CTET, as there is no negative marking, one should answer all questions (the probability of a guess (out of four choices) to be correct is 25%)

•For managing speed, keep an eye on the clock attempt easier questions first and mark the tougher ones for a later time. Save time at the end of the exam to review your test and make sure you haven't left out any answers or parts of answers.

•If time permits, revise the answers.

•After completing the question paper, make sure that you have handed it over to the instructor. After submitting the question paper, leave the hall and if have to appear for the next paper after 2-3 hours, stay calm, take a break, have some light breakfast/fruits and revise your notes for next exam.

Hope above tips will guide you to manage your day of CTET exam 2016. We wish all the candidates the best of luck.
