A: Both the Punjab National Bank and Allahabad Bank are participating in the recruitment process of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS will be organising a Common Written Examination for recruitment in 19 Public Sector Banks. The syllabus for the same is as follows.

The above tests except the Test of English Language and Descriptive Paper on English Composition will be printed bilingually, ie English and Hindi. The Descriptive Papers of only those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests will be evaluated.
