IBPS has conducted the online preliminary examination for the post of clerk on December 5 and December 6 successfully. The exam was conducted for 100 marks comprised of 100 questions (objective types) with a time of 1 hour. There were five alternatives in every question of a test.
Pattern of Examination: The examination has 3 sections – Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language. The candidates shall be required to qualify in each section as per cut-off marks determined on the basis of performance in each section and also on total weighted score. Negative marking is applicable for the Objective Test. For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Note: The candidates should note that the above cut offs may vary as it depends upon various factors hence, it is not possible to predict the exact cut off marks until IBPS declared it on its website. The IBPS will announce cut off marks, when the process of selection is over.
