IBPS has released the IBPS PO Main Exam 2016 result. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their respective results by visiting the official site of IBPS at ibps.in.
The IBPS PO Main Exam 2016 was held on 20 November 2016 across the nation at various centres. The examination IBPS CWE PO/MT-VI was held for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO)/ Management trainees in various public sector banks across the country and other participating organizations. The preliminary examination was held on 16, 22, 23 and 27 October 2016.
The results will be available from 08 December 2016 to 15 December 2016. Appeared candidates need to fill up their login credentials like registration no or roll no, password and the capcha code to get respective results. Once the result is displayed, please take a print out of the result for further reference.
The interview will be held in January or February 2017 for the candidates who have cleared the Main Exam. The provisional allotment will be done by April 2017.
A total of 02 million candidates have applied for IBPS PO 2016. The recruitment will be done to fill up 8822 posts of PO for various banks that come under IBPS functionary.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body which conducts recruitment processes for PO, Clerk and SO posts. IBPS has received a mandate from participating nationalized banks for conducting the selection process. For IBPS PO exam 2016 a total of 20 banks are participating. IBPS will select candidates on the basis of their performance in the preliminary online exam, main online exam and interview.
