ASRB on 14 February 2013 issued list of test centres and contact persons for Preliminary ARS Examination 2012 that will be conducted on 24 February 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates can get information of venue address for the examination along with name and address of the Centre Supervisor on the website of ICAR.

List of Test Centres for Preliminary ARS Examination 2012

The test will be conducted at 33 centres across the nation for selecting candidates for determining eligibility for for appointment as Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research at 33 centres across the nation. Delhi Centre, however, has 9 examination venues for the NET Examination 2012.

ASRB has already sent admission certificate via email, as mentioned by the candidates in the application form, for the exam. In case a candidate does not receive admission certificate, he/she can download the admission certificate from the ICAR’s website, the link for which will soon be activated.

Candidates are suggested to bring any of their photo IDs such as Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Adhar Card, College ID, Employee ID etc. to prove their candidature for the Preliminary ARS Examination 2012. Besides, candidates must reach well in advance to the reporting time at the test venue.

The Preliminary ARS Examination is a qualifying examination and candidates qualifying in the same will only be allowed to appear in the ARS – Main Examination which will be conducted on 23 June 2013 from 10 am to 1 pm. In addition, Candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying marks in ARS - Main examination will be called for Viva-Voce for the Agricultural Research Service.
