Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), Raebareli, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India issued notification inviting online applications for Entrance Exam 2014 for admission to CPL Course for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Shortlisted candidates shall be inducted as per Final Merit in batches every three months starting September 2014. Interested candidates should apply online through IGRUA, Raebareli website www.igrua.gov.in on or before 17 May 2014.

Name of the Course: CPL course
Total Seats: 150 seats
Duration of the Course: 18 months (may get extended)
Eligibility Criterion
Age Limit: 17 years at the time of joining
Educational Qualifications: Passed English at (10+2) level with Maths & Physics as other subjects
Medical Standards: Candidates should ideally fulfill the Class I Medical fitness standards. However, candidates with class II medical standards can join, but they will have to clear & submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate subsequently.
NOTE: Selected Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati SahuJi Maharaj University Kanpur, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates for the course will be done through a Written Entrance test (ONLINE Written Test), Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.
The Written Test will be held at allotted Centre on 1 June 2014.Admit Cards for the test can be downloaded on or after 23 May 2014 from the IGRUA website.
Candidates qualifying the written test will be eligible for Interview / Viva. They will be required to produce the relevant documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview.
Candidates successful in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test will only qualify for final selection.
Travelling Allowance: SC/ST candidates will be reimbursed 2nd Class to and fro rail fare on production of tickets from their registered address to Raebareli to appear for Interview/Pilot Aptitude/ Psychometric Test.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.6000 (for general and OBC candidates)is to be paid either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or in cash in any branch of State Bank of India through a payment slip to be generated online.
SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
