The eleventh IIM, Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Tiruchirappalli), was instituted on 04 January 2011. Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy or IIM T) shall be offering its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) course for the academic year starting June 2013. It plans to invite about One hundred (100) students for the PGP batch of 2013-15.
Criteria that would be used to select candidates for Personal Interview and Written Analysis Test (PI & WAT) are shown below:
Criteria for short listing for Personal Appearance (PA) Process
IIM- T will use the following criteria for short listing candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process, only those candidates who fulfill the criteria in both Table 1& Table 2 will be considered for short listing.

It must be noted that the cut-off scores given in Table 1 are indicative, and based on the cut-offs of the previous years. The actual cut-off scores for this year may vary from those mentioned in Table 1.
Among the candidates who qualify as per the above criteria, the short listing for the PA process would be done on the basis of total CAT score.
Criteria that would be used to select candidates post Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT) is shown below:
1. Written Analysis Test (15 per cent weightage): Vocabulary, Content and Writing Skills
2. Personal Interview (17 per cent weightage):
a. Communication, Attitude and Personality
b. Academic efforts and disposition
c. Managerial and leadership attributes
d. Social awareness and disposition
e. Overall presence
3. Work experience (based on relevance and quality of actual work done and achievements, if any): 5 per cent
4. Performance at UG level: 10 per cent weightage.
5. Master’s degree or Professional Qualification: 2 per cent (a pass in the Master Degree / final examinations of CA / ICWA/ CS).
6. Gender Diversity – Male 0 per cent; Female – 1 per cent
7. CAT score: 50 per cent.
Offer Acceptance Fee & Withdrawal
A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Tiruchirappalli and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance (OA) an Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) of Rs.50,000/
A candidate can subsequently withdraw the OA within the withdrawal date specified in the Offer Letter (OL).
