Eligibility Criteria for Scientist ‘C’ and Other Posts Job
Educational Qualification:
- Scientist ‘C’- Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Minimum three years of post-doctoral experience using human/mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and/or mouse/rat brain as model systems
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF)- M.Sc. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis/dissertation work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Minimum two years post M.Sc. experience. Must have qualified CSIR-JRF/NET or GATE examination. The incumbent should be prepared to travel between the collaborators’ labs to coordinate the projects
- Postdoctoral Fellow (RA)- Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Ph.D. Degree should be awarded no earlier than July 2010
- Postdoctoral Fellow (RA)- Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university / institute with a consistent first class academic record above 60% and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Ph.D. degree should be awarded no earlier than July 2015.
- Project Assistant- Bachelor’s degree; Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration work in scientific environment, proficient in editing and database programs such as Microsoft Excel and word processing on computers and online.

Age Limit for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Post Job - Not more than 30 years
Age Limit for Postdoctoral Fellow (RA) Post Job - Not more than 32 years
