Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), Department of Physics (Materials Science and Engineering Group) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Postdoc (RA)/JRF. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 15 May 2014. IIT Indore is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2009. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011 which declares these eight IITs as well as the conversion of Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University to IIT.

- Postdoc (RA): PhD in Physics or Nanoscience and technology with minimum 5 publications (Low temperature resistivity & magnetization/Nanomaterial’s growth with basic characterization of materials is desirable.
- JRF: MSc with valid GATE/NET score/M. Tech in Physics or Physical Chemistry or Materials Science.
- Postdoc (RA): Rs.22,000/- + HRA
- JRF: Rs.16,000/- p.m. + 20% HRA for NET-JRF/GATE, Rs. 12,000/-p.m. + 20% HRA for NET-LS)
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.
