As per the search engine giant, Google, Indians search more for government jobs than anything else. Among all Indic keywords used, ‘Sarkari Naukri’ is the most searched one.
Google India Industry Director has opined that searches for government jobs has rose by 48% since the last year alongside e-commerce jobs. Other sectors which have a huge number of Google searches are Banking and IT. Bengaluru, NCR, Mumbai and Hyderabad are the top cities for Google job searches.
Online job search market is expected to double by 2020.
