Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, Affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow invited application for Direct Admission to B.Tech programme first year, offering Specialization in Advances in Carpet manufactured Home Textile Technology/Textile Designing & Technology. Interested Candidate may apply in the prescribed format before 11 August 2014.

Eligibility

On the basis of result 12^th (10+2) examination conducted by approved board with following stipulations/relaxations.

• General / OBC Category Minimum overall aggregate 60%, for Relaxed Category (SC/ST) 50%
• General / OBC Category Minimum PCM aggregate 65%, for Relaxed Category (SC/ST)  55%

Age Limit
* Date of Birth: only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after Oct. 01 1989 are eligible. However in case of SC,ST,& PwD candidates who were born on or after Oct 01, 1984 are eligible.

 * Year of Passing Qualifying Examination: only those candidates who have Passed their class 12th Exam. or any other qualifying examination in 2012, 2013 or 2014 are eligible.

Selection Criterion

Admission through Institutional level Counselling in B. Tech First year (CTT)

 (Subject to vacant seat after final round of JEE (Main) CSAB allotment/reporting at IICT Bhadohi.

Note: Admissions shall be made strictly on merit basis

 Application Fee

A draft of Rs. 500/- for SC/ST girls, PwD

Rs. 1000/-for Gen. & other in favour of Director, UcT, payable at Bhadohi, must be attached with the application form.

6 latest passport size color photographs, 10th Certificate, mark sheet, certificate of qualifying exam & Mark sheet, caste certificate issued by competent authority, income certificate, medical fitness certificate, affidavit for any break in education should be brought at the time admissions.
