Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Notified Admission for MBA (IB) Programme 2015-17

    Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) invited applications for admission to its full time MBA programme of 2 years specializing in International Business for the academic session 2015-17. Interested candidates may apply before 3 September in the prescribed format.

    Important Dates

    • Last date for obtaining prospectus through post: 20 August 2014, Wednesday
    • Last date for obtaining prospectus across the counter at IIFT: 3 September 2014 Wednesday
    • Last date for receipt of applications: 3 September 2014, Wednesday
    • Last date for obtaining prospectus and receipt of applications for Foreign Nationals/ NRIs/ Children of NRIs: 16 February 2015, Monday
    • Written Examination: 23 November 2014, Sunday, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon

    Course Name

    MBA in International Business – Session 2015-17, Full time 2 year Programme

    Course Location: IIFT Delhi and Kolkata campus

    Eligibility 

    Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline. Candidate appearing in the final year examination of Graduation can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2015.

    No age limit.

    Reservation

    Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories. 

    For Foreign Nationals / NRI / Children of NRIs:

    Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRIs and Children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of which should not have been declared  before 1st January 2013 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31st March 2015. 

    Selection Criteria

    Selection will be based on Written Test, Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview.

    Written Test will be held at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.

    Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

    Pattern Of Admission Test

    The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English). It generally consists of questions covering English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

    How to Apply

    The candidate may apply either online or offline mode.

    Online: Visit IIFT website at www.iift.edu

    Click on the ADMISSIONS 2015 icon and !all in the online Form as per details given in website. Take the print-out of the Form, attach your photograph and sign in the Box provided for the purpose. Send the print-out along with the necessary enclosures to IIFT office, Delhi.

    Offline: The candidates who bought the Prospectus in cash or through demand draft need to complete the enclosed Application Form and send the same in the envelope provided for the purpose to the following address:
