Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi invited applications from the eligible candidates for fill up the following posts of “Research Associates /Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant Cum Scientific Software Operator” in the Defense Research Development Organization, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled “Analysis, Design and Simulation of an S- Band MILO” for a period of two years. The posts are purely temporary and co- terminated with the project. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 03 May 2014.

Project Assistant Cum Scientific Software Operator: 01 Post
(i) Ph.D / M. Tech with two years experience with first class in the area of High Power Microwave Engineering for post 1.
(ii) B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. or equivalent in Electronics Engineering with first class and Two years experience in the area of Microwave Engineering and NET / GATE or Equivalent for post 2. No experience is required for post 3.
(iii) Graduate with first class or Post graduate with second class degree with at least two years proven experience in computer typing, office maintenance and handing of scientific software like MATLAB etc. for post 4.
The Candidates with experience and knowledge in the area of High Power Microwave Engineering and related field will be preferred.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Age Limit for the candidate should be 32 years for post 1 & 2, 28 years for post 3 and 40 years for post 4.
Pay Scale/ Salary
Emoluments for the Candidates is Rs. 22,000/- Per Month (Fixed) for post 1, Rs. 18,000/- Per Month (Fixed) for post 2, Rs. 16,000/- Per Month (Fixed) for post 3 and Rs. 8,000/- Per Month (Fixed) for post 4 plus H.R.A. 20% for all.
