Eligibility criteria
Matriculation or equivalent with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute recognised by Central Government.
Age limit: Between 20 and 25 Years. Cut-off date for determining the age will be 15 June, 2011
Age relaxation: SC/ ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years
Pay scale: Pay Band 2, Rs 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs 4200 per month.
Other allowances: The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/ instructions. These postswill be covered under new Restructured Defined contribution Pension scheme.
Application Fee: No application fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen candidate and fee for General and OBC Candidate is Rs 50.

Medical Standards: -
(a) Eye Sight: Minimum distant should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing glasses.
(b) Candidates must not suffer from knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins or squint in the eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
