The Indian Institute of Management , Kozhikode campus held in Kochi held an induction ceremony for its first batch of executive postgraduate program (EPGP) on 6 April 2013.
As many as hundred and seventeen students , including eighteen women were inducted for the two year program for the academic session 2013-15.
The two-year part time EPGP is the first course to be offered from the Kochi campus with nine hundred contact hours and comparable in content to the regular PGP.
The institute admitted students with an average age of thirty. The class comprises of students who would have an average work experience of seven point five years and minimum experience of two years.
While the induction , the students were briefed on the different analogies of teaching and learning. The program can provide useful opportunities for all the students to test out their existing strategies, some of which are all likely to need refinement via different teaching methodologies based on case studies.
The Kochi campus is an extension of its main campus in Kozhikode catering to the needs of executives working in the emerging metros of Kochi, Trivandrum, Coimbatore etc.
