NOTE: Candidates would be considered for the vacancies for only that SIB / exam centre for which he / she has opted for.
Eligibility Conditions: Matriculation or class 10th or equivalent exam with knowledge of local language / dialect for the concerned SIB for which the candidate has opted for.
Only those candidates whose Matriculation / class 10th results have been declared on or before the last date for receipt of applications are eligible to apply.
Age limit: not exceed 27 years (as on 17 February 2014)
Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST category candidates and by 3 years for OBC category candidates.
Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200 – 20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2000 plus admissible allowances.
Examination Fees: Non-refundable examination fees of Rs. 50 has to be deposited through SBI challan (cash deposit) or using the Internet banking facility (for online account with SBI only) or through State Bank of India ATM-cum-Debit card.

SC / ST / Female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in written test, local language test, personality test, documents verification and medical examination.
How to Apply
Interested eligible candidates can apply online through the website www.mha.nic.in till 17 February 2014 (23:59 hours) after which the link will be disabled.
On successful submission of the online application, a registration slip will be generated by the system. Candidates would be required to take a print-out of the slip and retain it with them for future reference.
Candidates should have a valid active email ID for receiving alerts related to the recruitment process.
NOTE: Candidates willing to serve in any part of the country should only apply as the posts carry All India transfer liability.
